How we work

Three rules for an old house

  • Repair before replace

A roof with sound courses gets repaired. We tell you when the honest answer is a new one.

  • Match what is there

Cedar width and exposure, slate color and size, copper weight. We hold a sample against your roof.

  • Photos before and after

Every visit ends with dated pictures and a note in plain words.

Tell us about your shore house

Address, what the roof is made of, and when the house is empty. We set a day for the visit.
